T.O. DeVilbiss Mfg. Co, Inc. has been in the walk-in cooler/freezer manufacturing business since 1974. As mentioned before, his father, Frank E. DeVilbiss had started in 1958. All business from 1958 until today has been by "word of mouth". We have never published a brochure, we have had no fancy pictures, nor have we ever had a salesman on the payroll. We sell strictly to licensed Refrigeration Contractors, Restaurant Supply companies, and Wholesale Equipment distributors. We have always had as much work as we could handle
Due to the ever-increasing competition in this industry and the advent of the Internet, we have been pressured by potential customers and our dealers to publish something for them to look at. Therefore, we have obligated ourselves to maintain this web-site for your perusal.
We are not merely a walk-in cooler/freezer manufacturing company. Pictured to the left is a walk-in cooler door and frame, finished in 20 ga. 304#3 stainless steel interior and exterior. We can manufacture a door and frame to fit and replace most all existing openings. Our doors are manufactured using only the finest kiln-dried lumber for structural and a full 3/4" AC exterior plywood cover. No wood bands or blocks or metal plates. Our doors are made to last and last and can be repaired if the need arises. We also carry a full line of replacement hardware, gaskets, and accessories for your existing walk-ins (any make or model). We have the capabilities of manufacturing most any type of gasket with mitred and welded corners for ease of installation and thus alleviating the leaks in the corners of the gaskets where service personel seem to lack the expertise to achieve such.
Our office personel and counter people have a combined 138 years experience in finding the gaskets, hinges, and other accessories you may need or desire to bring your walk-in back into condition. We also have a lot of good, old timer, used hardware for those doors that are too good to throw away but you can not find a replacement part for. Years of replacing other manufacturer's doors with ours has given us an almost endless supply of good "used " hardware.
Our shop personel have a combined 192 years experience in manufacturing our walk-in coolers/freezers, doors, etc. Dan Dominguez (shop foreman), Jose Saucedo ( panel production), Raul Perez (metal production), Jesus Gomez (ceiling/floor production), Mark Munoz (production/installer), Arturro Sanchez (production/installer),
and a host of others either perform or directly supervise the manufacturing of every piece of each walk-in cooler/freezer.
Our vaults can be installed by our sister company, DeVilbiss Installation Co., Inc., which offices out of the same location. All of the personel that install our walk-in coolers have also been factory trained in the manufacturing of same. It is not too often that you find the men installing your walk-in also know how to build them from the ground up! If you desire, vaults can be shipped via freight lines or you can pick up at our plant when they are completed.
Being that our name is tied to our product, rest assured, that every job we take on is given the utmost care that it is completed to the best of our abilities. There has never been a customer that we could not satisfy if given the opportunity. We would not be in business if that were not true!
